2015 Ford Edge: More Than Just A Pretty SUV

While the Ford Edge has looks that could kill there is a lot more to the car than beauty on the outside. The 2nd generation 2015 Ford Edge has a new range of tech goodies that would make any driver drool.

Ford have included a brand new set of driver assist tech in the car and this includes the adaptive cruise control, adaptive steering system, active park assist, collision warning with brake support, glove box mounted airbags and handsfree liftgate. There is also the 180 degree front camera that has washer and inflatable safety belts in the back, plus a lot more.

Ford has also redesigned the suspension and this is going to help deal with bumps in the road along with absorbing noise. The Edge will also have adaptive electric steering that can be wired to self-parking, which also helps when it comes to improving the manoeuvrability of the car.

The Ford Edge will be offered in a choice of four trims, the SE, SEL, Sport and the Titanium. Buyers will also be able to choose from three engines. These will be the 2.0 litre Ecoboost four cylinder, the 2.7 litre Ecoboost V6 and the 3.5 litre V6 engine. All of the engines will have the six speed automatic transmission.

The Ford Edge should be coming out in 2015 in the US first and then it will be followed by South America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
