Aside from all that, the Edge will be coming with a redesigned set of suspensions that will do a better job in absorbing bumps and road noise. Furthermore, the Edge is equipped with an adaptive electric steering can is wired up with the self-parking function. This is a surplus to the improved manoeuvrability.
The Edge will be offered in four different trims. They are the SE, SEL, Sport and Titanium. Also, consumers can choose from a wide array of engines such as the 2.0liter Ecoboost four cylinder engine, the 2.7 liter EcoBoost V6 and the 3.5 liter V6 engine. The motor is paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Ford will be releasing the Edge next year and it will make its debut in the US first before being shipped to South America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific in that particular order.
