Ford is lining up a long list of awesome vehicles coming next year and one of them is the second generation Ford Edge. This upcoming SUV will look to replicate the beauty of its predecessor, while also offering the latest driving technology in the world today.
Among the electrical instruments that will be featuring on the Ford Edge are the driver-assist tools like adaptive cruise control, adaptive steering system, collision warning with brake support, active park assist, glove box-mounted airbag system, hands free tailgate, 180 degree front camera with washer and an inflatable rear safety belts.
In addition to that, Ford has also developed a newly-designed suspension that will ensure a comfortable driving experience, even when on bumpy roads. Also, the Edge has an adaptive electric steering that enhances the vehicle’s manoeuvrability. The special steering has support for the self-parking feature.
When the Ford Edge gets released, consumers can choose from 4 trims that are identified to be the SE, SEL, Sport and Titanium. There are also three power mills to choose from and they are the 2.0L Ecoboost four cylinder engine, 2.7L EcoBoost V6 engine and the 3.5L V6 engine. The motor is paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission regardless of the engine of choice.
Ford will be launching the Edge next year in America before the SUV gets shipped worldwide. This is one vehicle consumers don’t want to miss out on.
