Back in the mid-90s, there is one SUV that ruled the streets and it is the Ford Bronco. Unfortunately, the vehicle was discontinued ever since and its fans were left behind, tireless waiting for the Bronco to return.
Well, this may soon be happening as rumours are suggesting that the Bronco is being produced in secrecy as we speak. The word is that the Raptor is approaching an end in its production and it will be replaced by the Bronco entirely.
If this is true, then the Bronco will be powered by a 5L Coyote V-8 engine, which will be capable of producing 420hp. With such power, the Bronco will surely dominate the SUV market once again.
Then again, the rising fuel cost might require a new breed of Bronco to get produced. Rumours suggest that Ford will create a diesel variant of the Bronco and it is powered by the 4.9L Powerstroke V-6 diesel engine, which will be able to deliver 330hp and 645lb-ft of torque.
Despite all that, this is still based on rumours and is best taken with a pinch of salt. Of course, fans shouldn’t stop hoping for the Bronco to return.
