Back in the mid-90s, there is one SUV that ruled the roads and it is called the Bronco. However, the highly popular vehicle got discontinued but that didn’t stop the fans from tirelessly waiting for its return.
Well, this may happen soon enough. New rumours have surfaced suggesting that the Bronco is being produced in secrecy. When it arrives, there will be multiple variants of the SUV as Ford is offering it with multiple choices of engines.
Speaking of which, there will be two engines consumers can choose from and they are the 4.5 liter diesel engine and a 3.5 liter EcoBoost engine. The former is something very new as Ford aims to join the diesel trend with other carmakers. After all, the American company has already tasted the profits from a diesel-powered F-150 and wouldn’t mind offering something similar with the Bronco.
The rumour further hinted that the Bronco will be the direct replacement for the Ford Raptor. If this is to be true, then we could witness a four-door model, a two-door model and a Coupe Bronco. Ford did reveal that they will be producing two dozen vehicles next year and the Bronco could be one of them.
