Come next year, Chrysler will be releasing the 300C. While there might be little information on the vehicle’s offerings, we can already learn more about it through the 200C EV.
The latter got its concept unveiled in 2009 NAIAS and it revealed Chrysler’s intention of going green with its future productions. The 200C EV sports an ENVI electric powertrain with a gasoline engine range extender. Just on electricity, the car is capable of achieving 40miles but when everything is running, the 200C EV can reach 400miles.
The electric motor will offer 268hp and it will work alongside a two-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine. With it, the 200C EV can achieve knots to 60mph in about 7 seconds.
The 200C EV will be painted in liquid graphite pearl colour and will feature LED lights, nylon mats, and automatic adjustable steering. The features can be controlled through the Uconnect multimedia system, which can also pair with a tablet.
Just from the concept, we can expect a lot of it to feature on the 300C as well. Chrysler looks hot to make it into the green community and the 300C will be its white horse.
