Concepts have always looks more appealing and promising than the final product. Some carmakers have realized this and stick close to the concept design when creating a vehicle. Audi should do the same with the upcoming Q5 by blessing it with a new, more appealing look.
The German carmaker is already considering making the Q5 to look like an oversized, off-road ready Audi TT. We’ve seen the concept during the Beijing Auto Show but it seems that the model is severely lacking many features.
X-Tomi saw the lacklustre concept and gave it some upgrades. The result is more popular and exciting than the original thing. When viewing the Concept from X-Tomi, everything about the SUV looks identical to the original. However, the independent artist opted for thin LED headlights which look more appealing than ever. The door handles look more decent, the rims have been replaced and the Q5 got a nicer body trim in the fan-made concept.
At the moment, nobody has a clue on whether Audi will take some notes from X-Tomi for the upcoming Q5 but we can be certain that the German carmaker is aiming for something more illustrious.
