Volkswagen is such a huge name in the automotive industry that they even have their own exclusive events like the Golf GTi festival. Just last week, the German carmaker, together with the many companies under its belt, returned to Wairthersee Tour in Austria to celebrate the festival.
Aside from vast Golf GTi population and the entertaining stunt shows, there is also a corner where VW Group of companies unveiled their newest concept to the masses. One of the vehicles became the centre of attraction and it is the Audi Q3 Camping Tent Concept.
It might look like an ordinary Q3 but over at its tail section, there is a folded camping tent that has a wind load rating of 70mph and can be set up in 7 minutes. Furthermore, the portable tent can be tied to the car if required.
Under the hood, the Audi Q3 Camping Tent Concept runs on a 3.0 liter bi-turbo diesel engine that can produce 308bhp. Also, the Q3 Concept is equipped with a new roof box with a bicycle rack, wireless internet access and new packets in the cabin.
All in all, the Q3 Camping Tent exhibits innovation at its best. If it is to get developed, we won’t be surprised if it tops the list as the best lifestyle vehicles around.
