Later this year, Apple will be launching the next-gen MacBook Pro and there is a chance for it to become a platform for Intel’s newest processing chip, Skylake.
The chance came when Intel announced that Skylake is currently being developed and the nanochips are going to be available as early as July this year. If Skylake manage to make its debut on time, then Apple can integrate the nanochip into the next-gen MacBook Pro.
Doing so can only mean well for the upcoming laptop as Skylake is designed to offer revolutionary processing speed and great energy efficiency. This is owed to its 14nm architecture that allows it to make such great offerings.
Of course, the final call is still for Apple to make and it is best for the MacBook fans not to have high hopes over it. This is because Apple has this habit of making subtle changes to its new products and we don’t expect them to change their habit anytime soon.
