Jeep has big plans for the future as it looks to release a long line of vehicles by 2018. Next year alone, the American carmaker will be launching the Renegade.
Many analysts are worried for Jeep as they are forcing out vehicles that are deemed unpopular in the market. Then again, Jeep’s Manager, Becky Blanchard, revealed that the Renegade will be the smallest and cheapest 4×4 in its line-up.
The lady added that releasing the Renegade will also see what the consumers think of Jeep. Furthermore, the car is targeted to first time Jeep buyers.
Nevertheless, the odds are against Jeep as the Renegade will have to compete with the likes of the Chevrolet Trax, Nissan Juke, Buick Encore and Kia Soul. Jeep’s best hope is to outsell the Kia Soul through offering an AWD option.
The Jeep Renegade looks set to get unveiled at the end of this year before being shipped worldwide by Q1 next year.
