Who wouldn’t love a hot hatchback? They are often agile, efficient, cheap and simple to use. This explains why many people are so interested in the recently released Honda Jazz. The Japanese hatchback is simply synonymous to the above description.
However, when compared to the likes of the Ford Fiesta and the VW Golf, the Jazz is the least exciting of them all. There is simply too much upgrades with the Jazz performance and handling that the thrill factor got left out in the process. Then again, the Jazz is undisputedly the most reliable and flexible compact car in the market today.
In detail, driving the Jazz can start a civil war inside the driver’s head. It is boredom at its best. It gets worse if the Jazz is being driven on a long distance journey. The small petrol engine simply reach its limit on the open highway which makes the travelling a draggy and forceful one.
Unfortunately, there isn’t a Jazz with a diesel engine. However, green activists can settle for the hybrid variant that can return 62mpg. Of course, this isn’t as impressive as the diesel Ford Fiesta.
Inside the Jazz, everything is kept clean and neat. Every material used in the cabin is of high quality to ensure a sturdy structure for those that are breeding rascals. While the Jazz looks small on the outside, Honda did some advance physics calculation to ensure that there is enough room to fit in 5-passengers with ease and comfort. This is something truly admirable.
In short, the Jazz is a hassle free vehicle that should only be purchased for city dwellers. Otherwise, consumers are advised to look elsewhere like the Ford Fiesta.
