With every passing year, Apple continues to amaze the world as it continues to break records consistently, on an annual basis. This is further proven by UBS analyst, Steven Milunovich, which has gathered the sales chart of the iPhones back in Q4 last year.
The research revealed that ever since the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were launched back in September last year, the device managed to bag a whopping $68billion in profits. The sales figure was gathered from the day the iPhone 6 made its debut, all the way until the last day of 2014.
In figures, this is a sharp rise from the $57.6billion mark on the previous year. Furthermore, this surpasses Wall Street’s estimation of $65.5billion. It can also be said that about $20million was made on a monthly basis from the iPhones.
If the pattern is to continue for the years to come, then we could see Apple overshadowing the Android platform. At the moment, the iPhones is not far behind the Android market share. Also, China is being tipped to up their supply for future iPhones from 22% to 35%.
