Apple has launched the all-new MacBook Air and is confirmed to be a massive step up from its predecessor. However, this isn’t the case for the 11” model as it comes with some massive flaws that cannot be overlooked.
For starters the MacBook Air has a pretty poor resolution despite it having a smaller 11” screen. Furthermore, Apple didn’t give it IPS panel display, thus, resulting in the screen changing colours when viewed from different angles.
Then there are the ports that are absent on the 11” model. It appears that the machine lacks a HDMI port, microphone jack and a memory card slot that is available on the 13” and 15” MacBook Air. This cannot be helped as the 11” structure is pretty small to fit them all.
On the other hand, it can be a pain if consumers rely on HDMI ports in particular. Also, the missing features like microphone input limit the 11” MacBook Air’s productivity. In a way, this implies that the 11” MacBook Air is only great for basic usage like internet surfing and basic office work.
