The Samsung Galaxy S5 has been released for a couple of months now and it is one hell of a powerful device. With its state-of-the-art specs, the smartphone has so much to offer to its users.
Despite that fact, many features of the S5 remains undiscovered by its users. That is until today when we decided to share the 10 great features of the Samsung Galaxy S5. They are as follow:
1. One-handed mode
Under the Sound & Display settings, select this option and shrink the size of the screen to your liking. With a smaller operating screen, everything will be at closer reach with one hand.
2. Screen Sensitivity booster
At harsh environmental condition, an average smartphone’s touchscreen may get unresponsive. The S5 avoided this by turning on the high screen sensitivity on its Display settings.
3. Blocking Mode
At certain hours, you don’t want to be disturbed by any alarms, phone calls or messages. Instead of switching off the S5, you can turn on Blocking Mode in Personalization settings.
4. Disable My Magazine
The renamed Flipboard widget is not for everyone and in the S5, users can switch it off by holding on the home screen. Then, go to home screen settings and uncheck the feature.
5. Screen Indicator
Instead of swiping left and right just to get to a page where your fitness app is, tap on the number indicator below to perform a quick page jump.
6. S Finder
Sometimes, you can get lost in the tons of files you have in your S5. Now, you can simply search for it with the S Finder.
7. Different wallpapers for different screens
Now, home page wallpaper and lock screen wallpaper can be totally different from each other. This makes the S5 more personal than ever.
8. S Voice
This is a feature which you don’t need in the Samsung. Kill it permanently by going to the S Voice’s settings and disable the wake up via home button option.
9. Ok Google
Whenever you see OK Google’s search bar, say its name to operate voice searches or make calls and messages.
10. Toolbox
This new apps shortcut feature is really useful. It is exactly like Facebook’s chat head but instead of pulling out a conversation, you pull out your customizable shortcuts.
