Legendary Motorola DROID X Getting Update!

While Motorola has since released a host of great new smartphones ranging from the dual-core Motorola Atrix early last year to the latest Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX, I’ve always had a special place in my heart for the Motorola DROID X, possibly one of Motorola’s most influential smartphones.

Motorola DROID X update announced (not Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich)

Now an email sent to Motorola Feedback Members has advised that the Motorola DROID X is set to get an update:

“Hi,

Now before you get your hopes up and expect this to be Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, just remember that Motorola still has a lot of Gingerbread kinks to work out in the DROID X, and that is exactly what this update is all about.
