While the Samsung Galaxy Nexus has been out for some time now, we have yet to see another manufacturer release a smartphone with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich preloaded. Well that may soon change as details about what we can expect at MWC 2012 keep surfacing.
Quad-Core HTC Endeavor with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich headed to MWC 2012?
The latest comes way of MoDaCo who suggests we may see the HTC Endeavor announced at the Mobile World Congress event. Rumored to be running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with the latest version of HTC Sense, the phone boasts a massive 4.7-inch 720p HD display, 1.5GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 chip, 8-megapixel rear camera, 1GB RAM, quad-band HSPA+ radio and Beats audio integration.
Given that HTC has been about Qualcomm all this time, shifting to NVidia is big news. Furthermore, given that HTC stated it plans to release fewer smartphones this year and instead focus on only a few ‘hero devices’, we can expect HTC to pack everything its got into each of their next phon releases.
With both MoDaCo and PocketNow suggesting we will see the Android 4.0 Endeavor announced at MWC 2012, we will soon find out what else this smartphone is packing. until then check out the leaked pictures below.
