While the Samsung Galaxy S3 will not be joining us at the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona, Spain next month, Samsung may have another surprise up its sleeve.
Samsung Galaxy “Nexus+” coming to MWC 2012?
According to the latest online rumors based on new benchmarks that were spotted on Nenamark, we may be seeing another Samsung Galaxy Nexus variant with a new processor chip. Measuring at 1.8GHz but underclocked to 1.3GHz, this supposed Samsung Galaxy Nexus “Plus” may make its debut on February 27 at MWC.
Furthermore, 3g.co.uk also speculates that we may see Samsung bump up the camera as well, moving it from 5-megapixels to 8-megapixels in order to match the top Galaxy models. Of course, all this is just speculation at this point but given that Android manufacturers are expected to release fewer models this year and likely focus on variations, it may not be far from the truth.
On a side note, Samsung is apparently working on a couple more Galaxy S2 variants such as the Advance+ which may also be launched at MWC 2012. More details at the source.
