Earlier this month, we reported that Samsung had made available the Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread update for the AT&T Samsung Infuse 4G. At the time we had few reports from readers stating that they weren’t able to get their hands on the update. Well those Samsung Infuse 4G owners should consider themselves lucky.
AT&T Samsung Infuse 4G Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread update paused
According to Samsung, the Android 2.3.6 update for the AT&T Infuse 4G has been put on hold as both the manufacturer and carrier “are aware there is an issue with the Infuse 4G update that affects a small number of users”.
So we suggest refraining from updating your Infuse 4GH with the previous refresh and sit back. No word yet on when the the Android 2.3.6 update will be made available again but we’re hoping it won’t be too long.
