With MWC 2012 now exactly a month away, details are beginning to emerge on what goodies we can expect to see at the show. Earlier this week, rumors that the Samsung Galaxy S3 would debut at the event were shot down, with certain sources saying that we wouldn’t see the successor to the Samsung Galaxy S2 until sometime in April.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 11.6 to debut at MWC 2012 (rumor)
If this does in fact turn out to be true then it looks like Samsung may have a backup plan – the launch of a successor to the popular Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.
According to PocketNow, the folks over at AndroidAndMe managed to get their hands on an unknown tablet at CES but were required to delete the pictures they took afterwards. This was purportedly of a 2GHz dual-core Samsung tablet that had a screen size larger than 10-inches and a 2560 x 1600 WXQGA resolution.
This ties in with other rumors that the next-generation Samsung tablet will sport a screen size of 11.6-inches, making it larger than its key rivals the Amazon Kindle Fire and iPad 2. More on this as it develops.
