With Apple having unveiled a new iPad the in the first quarter of both 2010 and 2011, all eyes are on the Cupertino-based company to launch the iPad 3 sometime in March 2012.
Bloomberg: iPad 3 to feature HD display and LTE speeds
Now Bloomberg reports that “three people familiar with the product” have some juicy details regarding the upcoming iPad 3:
“Apple Inc. (AAPL)’s next iPad, expected to go on sale in March, will sport a high-definition screen, run a faster processor and work with next-generation wireless networks.”
By faster processor we are talking about a quad-core chip which will allow users to better run and jump between multiple apps simultaneously. And speed-wise, look forward to 4G LTE compatibility.
Unfortunately despite Bloomberg’s credibility, this report is still nothing more than a rumor. Natalie Kerris, a spokeswoman for Apple, has said the company doesn’t comment on rumor and speculation. So until then we suggest taking this report with a grain of salt.
