According to AndroidGuys, Samsung is hard at work to get out the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update to owners of the Galaxy S3 and they could have it ready as soon as August. This news came from the unofficial blog of Samsung, Sammobile.
Samsung Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean update coming in August?
Of course owners knew that they would get the update sooner or later but it’s nice to know that it will be the former. There are also rumors that Samsung will be offering the update to owners of the Galaxy S2 as well. Owners of the older model will be grateful for the update, especially if they still have a long way to go on their contract and cannot afford to upgrade.
It appears that other high end devices of Samsung will also get the update to Jelly Bean, so this is reassuring for those with even older handsets in their pockets. In particular, if the Galaxy S2 gets the Jelly Bean update, we can presume that so will the Samsung Galaxy Note.
