Android 4.1 Jelly Bean has been causing quite a stir and it is now naturally the most anticipated update for Android devices. There are many devices out there still waiting for the update to 4.0 ICS but Jelly Bean is the only word on everyone’s lips.
Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update
The Samsung Galaxy S3 is one of the most talked about Android phones at the moment and was released just a month ago in Europe and a few week ago in the US. Users are waiting to hear about the Jelly Bean update for the device, but over at the XDA Developers forum the first Jelly Bean port has arrived, which means that your Galaxy S3 can now enjoy Android 4.1.
Bear in mind that this is an unofficial build and therefore there could be bugs and issues, but if you want Jelly Bean head over to XDA Developers so you can ‘test drive’ Android 4.1 on your device. It has been reported that audio, camera, SD card storage, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and NFC are at the moment not working.
So with this in mind it is not an OS that you could use every day. However it does give an insight into how Jelly Bean would look on the Galaxy S3 and gives us hope until there is official confirmation of the Galaxy S3 getting the real deal.
