OK, we have to admit, there’s no way that a device that hasn’t been officially announced can be said to be ‘delayed’, we know that. However, we were quite confident that a July 11 release date for the Galaxy Note was in order, especially after leaked images hit the press with that very date on them.
T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note release date pushed to August 8?
As confident as we were, though, we were wrong, as we’ve just seen these new documents from a new Frontline Planner for T-Mobile courtesy of TMoNews that shows that the Galaxy Note is set for release on Wednesday August 8 only.
Just in case you were wondering what the red lettering is for, well, it indicates that the information is an update on the earlier version of the planner. This just serves to highlight even more the fact that July 11 will just be another regular day.
On another subject, we still have no idea what the Apex Q and the Samsung Cacao are. We do suspect, however that one of them at least is the upcoming Samsung T699 device that was the subject of a recent leak. Let’s all hope that T-Mobile can pin down an official date soon, before the Note 2 hits the market with all guns blazing.
