Could the HTC One XXL threaten Samsung’s success with the Galaxy S3? According to MobileApps, many thought that HTC would be defeated when Samsung released the Galaxy S3. However it appears that they have an ace up their sleeve as there are numerous rumors about the upcoming release of a new phone from them, the HTC One XXL.
HTC One XXL to join One X in battle against Samsung Galaxy S3 (rumors)
The HTC One XXL is thought to be the answer to the Samsung Galaxy S3 and it comes packed with formidable features and specs. It is thought that the handset will include a 720 pixel display screen and run on a quad core Qualcomm S4 processor similar to that found in the US version of the Samsung Galaxy S3. It should have 2GB of RAM and be packed with an 8 megapixel camera on the back and a 1.8 megapixel on the front. Reports have even suggested that the screen will be 5.5 inches which would leave the display of the S3 at 4.8 inch way behind, and even make the Samsung Galaxy Note a dwarf. It also would better explain the XXL name
It is the quad core processor and the 2GB of RAM though that could ensure that this is a dream phone for customers and a nightmare for all those trying to compete against it, including Samsung. On a side note, Motorola is also expected to unveil its own ‘Samsung Galaxy S3 killer’ under the guise of the Motorola DROID RAZR HD.
