The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will be revealed in October of this year suggests Korean newspaper MK. In addition to this speculation, the source has also given us some insight on what features the device may come with, and one of these is a flexible display.
2 rumored Samsung Galaxy S3 pictures now hinted for Samsung Galaxy Note 2
The publication revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will be the first ever phone launched to have the flexible LED display from Samsung and the screen will be 5.4 inches. It is also thought that the phone will be launched with Android 4.1 Jellybean which would mean it would also be the first handset to come with the latest Android software out of the box (Galaxy Nexus would receive it as an OTA update). Another suggestion has been a 12-megapixel camera, something we were hoping to see on the Samsung Galaxy S3 alongside the long-rumored flexible display which also didn’t happen.
At the moment there is no official word on a release date and nothing has been said about the price of the handset, however is rumored to be set for release in October based on information obtained by the Korean newspaper who have supposedly heard it from within the supplier chains. The flexible display of course is nothing new and was revealed at the CES 2012 by Samsung where they did mention that the first ever phone to have the feature would be revealed later this year. For now all we can do is wait and see if any leaked photos of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 come out to suggest that this may happen.
