Samsung Galaxy S3 & DROID RAZR HD-Like QWERTY Models Leaked [PICS]

Sprint may be getting ready to launch a Motorola Android 4.0 slider phone with a QWERTY keyboard, reports Androinica. After all it has been a long time since the company released such a handset, in fact the last time was the HTC EVO Shift 4G and the Samsung Galaxy S3 (Epic 4G). Both of which were hits with fans of sliding physical keyboards. It now seems that Motorola thinks it’s time to get back into the slider market, if the recent leaked photos have any merit.

Motorola DROID RAZR HD & Samsung Galaxy S3 getting physical QWERTY counterparts?

Androinica reports that they recently received a tip about an unknown QWERTY handset. The photo shows a device that has a large display and a keyboard with five rows. The device is said to have Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and of course it shows the MotoBlur skin on top. The device in the picture shows on screen keys, similar to the Motorola Dinara/Atrix 3 that was only recently leaked on the internet for the carrier AT&T. It is thought that the device will be powered by a dual core processor and it will have LTE connectivity.

At the moment there is no clarification from Motorola and the device is still in the rumor stage. Interestingly, while there were no Android QWERTY phones announced since 2011, there seems to be a couple coming in now. In addition to this Motorola QWERTY phone which appears to share similar specs as its upcoming sibling the Motorola DROID RAZR HD, has another Samsung Galaxy QWERTY phone leaked which may also be sharing some parts from its bigger brother the Samsung Galaxy S3. This one in particular is purportedly destined for T-Mobile and appeared under the model number SGH-T699. The source showed the device as having a 720p, dual-core Qualcomm processor and Android 4.0 ICS out of the box.

So if you are a fan of Android phones with physical QWERTY keyboards, hang back and wait it out for just a little longer. You may have a couple of choices in store for you this year.
