Samsung Galaxy S3 Killer Surfaces Again, Snaps Some Pics

While the Samsung Galaxy S3 appears to be the most popular Android smartphone at the moment, even trumping the likes of the HTC One X, there is one other Android heavyweight lurking in the shadows that is expected to give the Galaxy S3 a run for its money – the rumored Motorola DROID RAZR HD.

Photos taken using the DROID RAZR HD show up on Picasa

Today the folks over at DroidLife report that more photos have been taken using the DROID RAZR HD and have been posted on Picasa. It seems that an employee from Motorola has posted the photos to prove that the handset is actually out there and the guys at Motorola are getting it ready for its launch on Verizon.

It is possible that the photos were taken with a 13-megapixel camera on the Motorola DROID RAZR HD and it may have an aperture of f2.4. Along with the shots supposedly taken from the camera, DroidLife also posted photos of the actual phone. It has been suggested that we will have to wait until later in the summer before the handset will be launched on Verizon. However as Verizon are planning on ending their unlimited data plans the question is will you be purchasing the phone?

For those who don’t know or if you want a reminder to drool over, the Motorola DROID RAZR HD is thought to have the following specs: Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.5Ghz dual core processor, Adreno 225 GPU, 720×1196 HD display with 84 pixels for navigation bringing it to 720×1280, Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, 3300mAh battery, and a 13 megapixel camera.

So far, it seems to be the only other leaked Android smartphone that may have the hardware and software to take on the Samsung Galaxy S3. To find out why it is such a big threat to the Samsung Galaxy S3, check out our full comparison here.
