It’s been a while since Verizon began talking about their data share plans but now Verizon will in fact finally launch the plans later this month. Verizon announced just this morning that the plans will be available on June 28th and they will come with unlimited voice minutes along with messaging and there will be a single bucket of data which could be shared by 10 devices. There is also support for Mobile Hotspot which comes at no extra cost with the Share Everything plans.
Verizon ‘Share Everything’ plans: overview
Those interested in the plans first choose the device they want included in the plan, with each of them having a monthly line access price. As an example if you choose to have a smartphone included these cost $40 per month, a basic mobile phones would be $30 and a tablet $10 per month. Customers are then able to choose the amount of data they would want to share each month. These start from 1GB at $50 and go up to 10GB at $100 per month.
Verizon also offer plan options for basic phones or devices which use data only. Those using a basic phone may choose a 700 minute plan that comes without messages and data for the cost of $40 or a $70 plan which comes with 300 MB data and unlimited talk and text. Devices that use data only can have a 4GB plan for $30 a month, 6GB for $40, 8GB at $50 or 10GB for $60. The monthly line cost is $20 for hotspots along with USB sticks and tablets at $10.
This is good news for those on Verizon as there are numerous options to choose from thanks to data buckets being available to suit all pockets and there isn’t long to wait so get choosing which plan you want so you better start gauging your current usage needs. Overall, these new plans appear to reduce the cost of data usage, especially for those who don’t need too much of it and also want the added option of mobile hotspot usage.
