Would you ever have thought that you would be able to pick up a new Samsung Galaxy Nexus for free? Well this is the deal that Amazon Wireless is offering new customers who switch to Verizon Wireless.
Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus only 1 cent on Amazon
The deal is excellent for such an awesome handset as it comes with the latest Android 4.0.4 operating system. The downside is that if you are already with Verizon you will not be able to grab the deal. However there is also good news for those already with the carrier who are considering getting the handset. For those already with the carrier the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is obtainable for the price of $50. At the moment the link to the promotion has to go out live but it should appear on their website at some point today. When it does, if you are interested it pays not to hang around as the deal for new customers at 1 cent and $50 for existing customers is for a limited time only.
Here is a reminder of what the Galaxy Nexus from Verizon offers for as little as 1 cent with a two-year contract: a 4.65 inch 1280×720 Super AMOLED screen, 1GB of RAM, 1.2 GHz Ti OMAP processor, a 5 megapixel rear camera, 1080p video recording, a front camera of 1.3 megapixels, 32GB storage built in, battery of 1800mAh, HDMI courtesy of the MHL micro USB to HDMI cable, and Bluetooth 3.0.
On a side note, if you are planning to switch to Verizon then you can also consider the HTC DROID Incredible 4G LTE and Samsung Galaxy S3, both expected to land this sometime this month.
