Head over to the settings in your Galaxy Nexus handset and choose Apps>all and make a search for Google Services Framework. When the phone has located this simply tap on it and then choose “Force stop”. Following this click on “clear data” and then hit the back key to come out of the apps and back to the about page in settings and then all you need to do is check for a system update.
