Who didn’t see this coming. After the Samsung Galaxy S3 variants for AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon all made appearances on SIG, the Bluetooth Special Interest Group, do the folks over at EasterMorningHerald report that the Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3 joins the trio on SIG.

Sprint is the latest to offer what has been termed a “hot smartphone” and is the latest addition to the ever growing list of phone companies offering it. Bluetooth SIG are the board that gives approval to Bluetooth radio applications and their list of approved providers for the smartphone included AT&T along with T-Mobile.
At the moment the specifications of the device and in-depth information is very sketchy and of course the specs will vary between providers offering the Galaxy S3. One thing is plain and that is the fact that the phone will have support for Bluetooth 4.0 technology.
Also there is no release dates mentioned at the moment, however it has been rumored that the Galaxy S3 will come out sometime in June so fans of the phone should not have too long with wait. It is expected that the handset will be powered by a dual-core processor here in the US and it may have 1GB RAM. Storage options are said to come in options of 16, 32 and 64GB with a stunning AMOLED screen of 4.8 inches. Software will naturally be a TouchWiz flavoured Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
