Samsung Galaxy S3 vs Samsung Galaxy Note

So how does the Samsung Galaxy S3 compare to the popular Galaxy Note? Given that both smartphones have TouchWiz and the Samsung Galaxy Note may be getting the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Premium Suite update by the time the S3 hits stores, on the software front they are almost identical.

Moving on to the hardware, the Samsung Galaxy S3 blows the Note away in terms of its processor (1.4GHz quad-core Exynos versus dual-core). However the Galaxy Note fights back with a larger display (5.3-inch versus 4.8-inch) and both feature HD resolution. Talking about HD, both record video at 1080p and come with 8-megapixel rear cameras.

Moving on to battery life, the Samsung Galaxy Note boasts a 2,500mAh battery versus the 2,100mAh on the Samsung Galaxy S3. However given the larger display and dual-core processor, it is unclear which will outlast the other until we get our hands on one for some real-world testing.
