The iPhone 5 is expected to launch this summer at WWDC 2012 if everything goes as planned. However there is still an air of doubt over the launch dates ever since the iPhone 4S broke from Apple’s traditional summer launches and only came out in October.
iPhone 5 shows up in China, so good you can eat it
The folks over in China however have gone ahead and launched their own iPhone 5. Available in two flavors, mango and pear, it sounds like just what you want during the long hot summer.
Manufactured and trademarked by an ice cream company is China (yes they can trademark it since Apple hasn’t registered it across all industries), what is missing is an Apple flavor. Now we’re not sure how they could have missed the most obvious flavor out (should be called ‘Original’ in my opinion) but I guess they didn’t want to make it too obvious.
Ice cream aside, rumors suggest that the iPhone 5 will boast a larger display, faster processor (similar to that of the New iPad 3), 12-megapixel camera and 4G LTE support. Well enough chatter, check out the pictures below and tell us what flavor you would want.
