While the current Samsung Galaxy Nexus has been available on Verizon since last year, we can now expect a white and gray 16GB model to hit the number one US carrier as early as this week.
White 16GB Samsung Galaxy Nexus coming to Verizon on April 5th?
The details come via Droid-Life who have stumbled upon a device release schedule for the upcoming 16GB Samsung Galaxy Nexus. The schedule points to an April 5th release date which is the end of this week. Now the white Samsung Galaxy Nexus is nothing new, nor the 16GB gray versions, and they have been available in overseas markets for sometime now.
Given the smaller storage size, the 16GB Samsung Galaxy Nexus is expected to retail at $199 with a two-year contract, versus the $299 32GB model available at the moment.
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus boasts a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED display, 1GB RAM, 1.2GHz dua-core processor, 5-megapixel rear camera with 1080p video recording, NFC, 4G LTE and of course Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich preloaded.
