With the New iPad 3 already unveiled, the next most anticipated Apple unveiling would have to be the next-generation iPhone i.e. the iPhone 5.
iPhone 5 rumors singing the same song we heard before the 4S launch
While we are always eager to hear any new details, as far fetched as they may be, about what the iPhone 5 may bring, we find the Apple rumor mill in a very sad state at the moment. All this is mainly thanks to the iPhone 4S rumors from the end of last year, as well as the recent unveiling of the New iPad 3.
While the iPhone 5 is arguably still the most hyped about smartphone of 2012, the rumor mill is singing the same song it was back in 2011.
We’ve already heard this from back when the iPhone 4S was going to launch as the “iPhone 5” – 4G LTE, larger display, faster processor, mini dock connector, and 12-megapixel camera. And since then we have heard nothing new, with tech outlets still humming the same rumors.
New iPad 3 let a lot out of the bag
And recently with the unveiling of the New iPad 3, we received further ‘confirmation’ that we shouldn’t expect much else i.e. the New iPad 3’s LTE radios and faster processor will more than likely be in the iPhone 5 as well.
To top it off, with the iPad “3” being called the New iPad, it sort of throws the whole naming convention out and suggests the the next-generation iPhone may also be nameless and just be called the New iPhone.
Anyone else feel that iPhone 5 rumors have become a borefest so quickly this year?
