With the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update now officially available for the Samsung Galaxy S2, many users will likely be heading over to their Settings > About Phone screen and checking out their Android version numbers. This may have apparently had many Samsung Galaxy S2 users stumble on a little surprise. Read on.
Surprise inside Samsung Galaxy S2 & Galaxy Nexus ‘Android Version’ buttons
If you happen to still be sitting on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, then click on the Android version number 5 times. Yes, it is not a button so nothing should happen. But just see what does after you click on it the 5th time.
What you will see is the above screenshot. Now if you’ve already upgraded to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich then it doesn’t mean there’s no surprise for you. Instead, you will see the Android alien with an Ice Cream Sandwich torso. Clicking on him next will show you a bunch of them flying around in space.
Simultaneously, if you are the owner of a Samsung Galaxy Nexus which comes preloaded with Android Ice Cream Sandwich already, you will see what’s pictured below. Pretty cool huh?
