Ever since the Motorola DROID RAZR was launched, we’ve seen Motorola try and up it one more with the DROID RAZR MAXX, DROID RAZR Developer’s Edition, and even an upcoming Blue and Red Motorola DROID RAZR. Now we may have another DROID RAZR-like smartphone to add to the list and likely to compete with the current favorite RAZR MAXX – the Motorola DROID Fighter.
DROID Fighter: A Motorola RAZR MAXX with HD Screen, Ice Cream Sandwich Keys
The folks over at PhoneHK have managed to snag some pictures of the Motorola DROID Fighter. Now the first thing that is apparent is how it looks almost identical to the Motorola DROID RAZR, which shows us that the DROID RAZR wasn’t a one-off design for that particular device but more a new design language for Motorola smartphones in 2012. According to the source, the Motorola DROID Fighter boasts a 4.6-inch HD display. The extra screen size would likely also be to the removal of the soft-buttons at the bottom which are no integrated as the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on-screen keys.
Of course, just like the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, the extra screen real estate will be occupied by the on-screen keys most of the time. But nevertheless, this is how Android Ice Cream Sandwich devices should be released. Lastly, you must be wondering why we said this will likely top the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX. This would be because the leak mentions that it will come with the 3,300mAh battery currently found in the RAZR MAXX. Anymore questions?
