In usual Apple tradition, the Cupertino-based company has gone ahead and confirmed the launch times and other little details that buyers of the New iPad 3 will need to know if they wish to acquire the next-generation Apple tablet on launch day.
New iPad 3 hits 10 countries on March 16, second wave on 23rd
Apple has announced that the New iPad 3 will be available in stores on March 16 in 10 countries. In the US, buyers can expect the Apple Store to open at 8AM on launch day. Third party retailers like Best Buy, RadioShack, Sam’s Club, Target and Walmart will also have the New iPad 3 in stock on launch day but buyers should consult the respective stores from opening times.
After the initial launch in 10 countries, the second wave will hit March 2rd and include 25 countries. These include Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macau, Mexico, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
No word yet on how long other countries will have to wait before the New iPad 3 makes its way over. Apple claims that this will be their fastest launch ever.
