The AT&T Samsung Galaxy S2 SkyRocket is arguably the best smartphone on AT&T alongside the likes of the iPhone 4S. While it does boast 4G capabilities and a massive display, it takes a hit when it comes to battery life versus the iPhone 4S.
AT&T Samsung Galaxy S2 SkyRocket gets 3,900mAh Mugen extended battery
Now the folks over at Mugen Power Batteries have just released an extended battery for the AT&T Samsung Galaxy S2 SkyRocket which upgrades its tank to a whopping 3,00mAh. This equates to 2.11 times more than the standard battery that comes in the S2 SkyRocket.
Given that powering that large display and surfing on 4G consumes more power than on smaller screen devices and 3G speeds (e.g. iPhone 4S), an extended battery should allow the average user to get through the day and only charge up nightly.
With the biggest complaints about the Samung Galaxy S II SkyRocket having to do with its short battery life, the $89.95 asking price for the Mugen extended battery may be enticing to many.
