HTC in talks to produce Google Nexus 4 with Android 5.0 Jelly Bean
Now as we move into 2012, it is once again time for a new Google phone i.e. Nexus 4. Earlier this week we heard that LG was in talks about producing the “Nexus 4” and now comes word that HTC wants in too.
The latest rumors suggest that the next-generation Nexus device will launch with Android 5.0 Jelly Bean. TechRadar recently spoke with HTC’s global online communications manager, Jeff Gordon, about the chance of the next Nexus being made by HTC. Gordon stated, “Google hasn’t chosen its Nexus partner for (Android) Jellybean as yet. So right now all the manufacturers are crossing their fingers.”
The article however suddenly disappeared after the folks over at AndroidAndMe brought attention to it. Could Gordon have divulged more information that they should have?
With the Nexus models usually launching close to the holidays, it will be a good couple of months before anything concrete will be revealed.
