Gamers haven’t been playing GTA 5 for all that long, but despite this we are already hearing mention of GTA 6. This has left things wide open for hoaxes that have been going around about GTA 6 and we have seen one of them go viral on Twitter.
An image was posted as way of the hoax that said the final version of GTA 6 is now available. There was also a link, which we didn’t click, so we don’t know what would have happened to our computer if we had clicked it.
The same image appeared in December of last year and it came from Patrick Brown. The image showed all of the GTA protagonists in the same room. In the painting there was CJ from San Andreas along with Michael from GTA 5.
It was clearly a hoax and why something like it would go viral we can’t work out. Some people did believe the hoax it seems and there is no denying that the artwork is stunning.
About the only thing in the painting that you could relate to GTA 6 would be the person walking into the room. At the moment we have no idea who he is but it was suggested that it may be Huang Lee from ChinaTown wars. Maybe he will be the protagonist in GTA 6?
Of course those who follow the GTA franchise all had a good laugh at the hoax, but some people did fall for it.
