We saw a story going around earlier on in the week about Uncharted 4 which suggested that it was doubtful Uncharted 4 would come out in 2014.
Now it seems as though this may not be true. Naughty Dog said they wanted to clarify things about the Uncharted 4 release date and went on to say that it is not doubtful for 2014. They went on to say that people had been reading between the lines. PlayStation Lifestyle talked with Monacelli and he said that things were taken the wrong way and that he had been responding to just part of a question about an Easter Egg. This was in relation to this “UC4 Easter Eggs? UC4 for PS$ in 2014 … LOU GOTY edition please!!” Monacelli replied with “Ha. Doubtful.”
We have seen a trailer for Uncharted 4 that tells us the game is going to be based on revenge. Drake isn’t the one telling the story so we assume that he is the one that is targeted for revenge. The map in the trailer has led us to believe that the game could take place in South Africa, perhaps near Madagascar, however bear in mind that Uncharted is usually big on hopping all over the globe. So it isn’t likely that Uncharted 4 is going to remain in one spot.
So it seems that not all hope has been lost for Uncharted 4 being released this year. but if it doesn’t fans will wait patiently until it is ready for release as after all who is going to boycott the game?
