When it comes to simulating today’s world, The Sims is probably the closest thing there is. This gaming franchise has been around for so long now and it looks to extend its success with the upcoming The Sims 4 game.
The Sims 4 is expected to be the biggest Sims game yet. The series is being developed by Maxis, which has yet to disappoint the fans. However, this didn’t stop the fans from revealing the three things they want in The Sims 4. They are as follow:
1) Next-gen graphics
The Sims has been the pioneer of 3D graphics in the past and it should do better with modern capabilities. With both the Xbox One and PS4 already out, it is unforgivable if the graphics in The Sims 4 is lacklustre.
2) Campaign
There is no denying that The Sims is a replica of the real world. However, the renaissance DLC back in the Sims 3 offered many roles to play like being King. With the rich past and the creative future in mind, the campaign should not be limited to a single age.
3) Interactive large map.
Skyrim and GTA 5 have shown how a huge map can prolong a game’s life. In fact, both games are for the current gen consoles. On the next gen, things should be even larger. This is something that Maxis needs to capitalize on for The Sims 4.
All in all, The Sims looks set to return and be that broken dream which everyone in this miserable world has failed to achieve. In spite of that, Maxis has yet to announce the release date for the game.
