When it comes to the development of Resident Evil 7 Capcom have been keeping quiet, however just because they haven’t been talking it doesn’t mean they are not working on the game.
Recently we saw the resume of Karen Brackenbridge, a costume designer in LA, she gave indication that the games development was firmly underway.
NeoGaf showed a listing of Resident Evil 7 on her profile over at LinkedIn, so you can be sure that it is in development.
We did hear that fans wanted Resident Evil 7 to go back to the roots. Resident Evil 6 didn’t go down well with fans, while they enjoyed Resident Evil: Revelations as it did have the horror focus which we have come to love about the series.
Since Resident Evil 4 the horror/survival plot seems to have gone through the window. The last game didn’t have the static backdrops and tank controls. Resident Evil 6 was more of a mixture of horror and action and fans thought it was disjointed.
