One particular thing that made the PS4 extra special is the fact that Sony is pushing for backwards compatibility for the PS4. This means that the players can enjoy games from the past consoles like the PS1 and PS2. There is always that handful of titles worth re-playing despite its age.
In addition to that, the Japanese electronics giant is planning to enhance the visual quality of old games. With the emulators coming to the PS4, these old games will get a whole new HD look to it.
This was already attempted with the PS3. However, the picture resolution caused the image quality of the game to sink. Old games came out with a blurry look on every television screen.
It is unknown when it will be ready but fans can expect to enjoy it very soon if the rumors hold true. After all, backwards compatibility can be the deciding factor in this much heated console wars.
