When Pokemon X & Y arrived on the scene it came with many new features. These included an environment that was more detailed, new key items, extra Pokemon and a brand new storyline. Pokemon X & Y offers players connectivity so that Pokemon trainers are able to do battle, trade Pokemon and play mini games through Wi-Fi.
Another new feature is Pokebank, this is where gamers are able to store their Pokemon and then bring them over from older versions of the game. It has been said to be along the lines of cloud storage or similar to the garage feature in GTA V.
Players will find the tool useful and even the NPCs have called for gamers to make use of the Pokebank. An NPC was seen asking for a Genesect Pokemon and this Pokemon doesn’t exist in Pokemon X & Y.
The Pokebank will be useful for fetching Pokemon from older versions of the game into Pokemon X & Y. It will help players to get hold of their favourite Pokemon and bring them into the new game.
