The delay in the PokeBank release has caused quite a few fans to give up on it. As expected some have even completed their Living Dex in Pokemon X & Y already because of the big wait.
Discussion forums are rife with such players and as such it’s possible that the PokeBank will be surplus to requirements. Nintendo has told gamers that the PokeBank will be free for the first month but then it’ll be chargeable for an annual subscription mind you.
Players can just catch all the Pokemon and wait for the PokeBank before going over to X & Y in one go. However, judging by these new comments chiming in, if the PokeBank is delayed any longer, Nintendo might find more and more players just finishing the Living Dex and not bothering with PokeBank.
This bank is thought to become the transfer medium of the future, though, and if this is the case, then Pokemon players might get their hands on it for Pokemon Z, whenever that is set to release. If you’ve finished your Living Dex for X & Y, then you just won’t need PokeBank so badly yet.
Every day, more players are finishing their Living Dex. It’s rare for Nintendo to make a mistake, but this one is looking like a big ‘un! Previously, PokeBank systems were available with new game releases, so this is a weird old to-do, that’s for sure.
