Imagine Captain America fighting off Red Skull in the ever-so-popular open world sandbox game, Minecraft. It kind of looks awesome right. On a closer look, it is impossible for anyone to dislike Minecraft and also impossible for anyone to hate Captain America.
Well that imagination is about to materialize. 4J Studios, together with Minecraft’s creator, Mojang, has been in talks on adding The Avengers into its world of Minecraft. Now these talks have tied down and a DLC is finally out.
The Avengers can now be added to the Xbox 360 Edition of Minecraft for only $3. It will bring Ironman, Hulk, Captain America and Thor all into the game. That’s not all. Players will also receive plenty of other heroes. Players can get it over at Xbox’s game store.
Minecraft is one of the biggest gaming titles created. It has sold more than 30 million copies ever since it got released a couple of years ago. It was also the 9th best-selling game for 2013. With the Xbox 360 stealing all the attention, it will be a matter of time before both Mojang and 4J Studios finished porting for the Xbox One and PS4.
