Bioware is putting a lot of attention on Mass Effect 4 and the game is expected to shake the world when it arrives on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Unlike most game developers out there, Bioware actually updated the fans on every progress made with Mass Effect 4’s development.
It appears that the love for the franchise is just so much that Bioware is looking to go as far as porting the Mass Effect trilogy into the next-gen consoles.
In a recent Tweet from Bioware Montreal’s general manager, Aaryn Flynn revealed that such a thing is currently being discussed internally. Once the plan is set for execution, Flynn claimed that he will share it with the world. Of course, the GM is clearly delighted with the excitement from the fans.
The next-gen consoles are something like no other. Their major hardware upgrades brings in a Full HD gaming experience. Also, there is the connectivity upgrade for the next-gen consoles which allows it to utilize external gaming hardwares like a virtual reality headset for an all-out gaming experience.
If the Mass Effect trilogy is to come to the Xbox One and PS4, then Bioware has to do some tweaking to the three titles. This includes improving the games’ texture, upsizing the resolution to 1080p and converting them to 60fps. That way, a HD Mass Effect trilogy will certainly prepare the stage for Mass Effect 4.
Of course, this is still in talks and subject to confirmation from the game developer. However, knowing Bioware, they will definitely proceed with the idea.
