The last Mass Effect game was released some time ago and gamers are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Mass Effect 4, which is under development at the moment. Now the hype has gone past gamers and fans of the series as it seems that the TV series Top Gear is hyped up as well.
The program features hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May and happens to be among the most successful cars series in the UK. Recently the team set out to test one of the latest Alfa Romeo Cars in an episode.
Fans of the game watched the episode and said that music played in it was from Mass Effect 3. The piece of music Leaving Earth and An End Once and For All was played when the team were testing out the Alfa.
Top gear is known to use instrumental music in the series and this has included music from the film Inception, during the testing of a vehicle. However music from Mass Effect was used for the first time ever.
Some people have said that this could be down to the fact that it would have been cheap to play the soundtrack from the game. But as Top Gear has a large bank balance this doesn’t seem to be a likely scenario. There could be another reason and this is that Top Gear is hyped up about the release of Mass Effect 4 or perhaps they just happen to like the soundtrack.
Mass Effect 4 is under development by Bioware at the moment and the developer has said that the game is in testing.
